Review on πŸ“€ Panasonic DMP-BDT120 Blu-ray Player by Jnis Zeile ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

Personally, I liked the player, as it was bought specifically for viewing licensed Blu-ray and DVD. The player copes with this task by 5. HD video is amazing in quality, by the way, the sound is also excellent, and this is when using TV speakers (connection, of course, via hdmi). In general, the build quality and thoughtfulness of the device are on top - high-quality plastic, painted metal panels, soft and almost silent output of the disc tray. As for the shortcomings, this, as I have already indicated, is increased "intelligibility". I connected a flash drive with 25-30 videos in different formats, I managed to read about half of them, mostly AVI. Some videos went, but only without sound. With blanks a little better. Amateur footage and photos recorded on CD-R are read without problems, films downloaded from the Internet and recorded on the same discs refuse to read flatly. In a word, a high-quality player for comfortable viewing of licensed discs, preferably Blu-ray. For lovers of movies from a torrent and as a media player, definitely not suitable.

Pros
  • Image quality, especially from Blu-ray discs. A convenient menu to understand the basic functions of the instruction is not needed. Fast loading discs, I personally have a blu-ray loaded in 10-15 seconds, no more. Excellent appearance, although an amateur, of course.
Cons
  • Very picky, both in terms of playable files and media. Often does not play CD-R/RW.
