smooth weld bead. pretty easy to use. takes some getting used to. mine melted a bit. I know it might need to be warmed up. and I declined. great service from amazon.

Used them on 1/4 inch #304 stainless steel and they worked well. It's a bit tricky to start with a fresh bar, but it might be me as I'm not a qualified welder. Molten metal appears a bit thin as it flows easily before cooling. Overall I'd say they worked great despite my inexperience.

garage at home / dodgy mechanic learns how to SS weld here. I watched another video before buying. The material works great and is easy to use as long as you use a consistent bead. It is difficult to start the arc after use, even after cutting the tip. It is noted that 1/16 is manufactured in the country of the coronavirus and 1/8 in India.

Fantastic rod: very little spark, great control and no spatter. I plan to use this wand for hobby and emergency use when my TIG welder breaks down. I particularly liked the fact that with TIG welding I didn't have to worry about shielding gas, welding wire, collets and, if necessary, tungsten. Tried them for the first time today and they weld well and form a great bead. It is easy to control the arc. The only complaint I have is that the 1lb rod body is really flimsy and when I received it the area where the two halves screwed together was completely split leaving the rods exposed. I'm not sure how sensitive they are to moisture, but you usually want your sticks to be in an almost airtight case, which isn't the case at all.
