The blue glass bottles I recently purchased are definitely not suitable for home brewers. My analysis of this product showed that the bottles were not as sturdy as they appeared in the description. The few bottles that survived shipping turned out to be too difficult to clean, and were of poor quality. However, the blue color was a nice touch.

The glass is not (blue glass), it is clear glass, blue tinted. Terrible paint too, it's rough and peeling. I don't think they are edible! Children bump and miss, some close tightly while others are weakened and never withstand the pressure of fizzy drinks. Unfortunately very bad quality.

These are *not* blue glass bottles. They are blue painted clear glass. See photo. When I received them I was a bit disappointed to see that the blue wasn't quite even, but I didn't pay attention and started washing them.
