I saw this and thought it would be perfect for my wife. She liked it, she didn't find it stupid, but rather suited her character.

Fun, kids think I'm dangerous with kitchen knives - perfect for keeping them at bay. It's well made, it washes well although it gets dirty easily.

I love these 50's style potholders! The colors are a bit lighter than I expected but the joke tells me. My friends find it funny in a cute/psychological way ;-)

I love the design but when I first hit it with oil when I took out the pan all the paint washed out. It's like I bleached the tip of the potholder. I'm afraid to wash, otherwise it will turn white!

looks great. no problems so far, doesn't melt when in contact with heat like some cheap mittens I've had in the past. The color has faded a bit after a few uses (see photo, it's very minimal), but that doesn't bother me.

So my aunt is cooler than your aunt, so I thought I'd buy this for her because she cooks. The first day I used it to get a cookie cutter out of the oven and it was COMPLETELY BURNED. Do not go. Don't collect $200. Do not buy this unless it will be hanging on the wall as a decoration with a disclaimer underneath that reads "Not for its intended purpose".

I keep buying one of these for my daughter in law and one day I remember and I know she will think it was really funny because she told me she thought I had it funny. Ours is all black now so I can't give it to her so I'll take care of it and buy her a new one when I finally remember it. And she's gonna fucking love it.

The hanging hook on this baby is in the lower right corner, not on the side. So when I hang it with others who have hooks on the side, it hangs differently. I prefer the loop below, and since I only have two potholders and they're both different, I'm not sure what's right and what's wrong. I love the colors in this one! That's a great potholder so listen to me.
