Get Crystal Clear Headlights with Blue Magic 725CD-06 Headlight Lens Restorer - 8 oz. Review

Worked great on some badly oxidized headlights. The application only took a few minutes. There was some oxidation on my truck that I couldn't remove, but I'll try again with a very fine grit. I then sealed it with 730-6 sealant. Very happy with the result given the little effort.

I have tried several products designed to remove yellow glaze from plastic headlight covers. Some work but require a lot of effort. Blue Magic just shoots! You can see yellow dirt building up on your fabric, so you have to keep turning the fabric to the new side. And it only uses half a teaspoon per application. This is one of the best products I have ever opened.

It's gotten a bit, but don't expect miracles from the product. Used it after two others that were ineffective, then tried this one, then vinegar + baking soda, then repeated this product to get a reasonable result. In the long term I will still be replacing headlight assemblies as none of these products or methods will fix years of neglect of the headlights by previous owners of my Mustang.

This item does NOT work. When I received the bottle there was no seal on it which led me to believe someone before me had returned it because it wasn't working. I applied it to a headlight as directed and there was no difference. I applied it a 2nd and 3rd time, again following directions and it removed VERY little of the yellow. I returned the item as it just didn't work. I don't recommend it.

I have bought this before and I was very satisfied. Our car is a little over 10 years old and the headlights have been getting darker and darker. It definitely affected the brightness of the light. I also bought Blue Magic sealer. Be generous with the amount you apply to your headlight to clean it. If things get really yellow, you might have to redo it once or twice. I just used some elbow grease along with a pair of old white sleeveless socks and some microfiber towels and they looked amazing! I was stumped after comparing them before and after. I have just used this on an old car that we are going to sell to test and make the car a little better. I also bought a set of $10 polishing pads to attach to my variable speed drill instead of wiping the stuff down with a cloth. Let me tell you that $10 was very well spent and I highly recommend it.
