🔌 Blue Ox BX8861: Reliable 4-Wire Coiled Electrical Cable for Hassle-Free Connection Review

Purchased for my new RV towing kit. Plugged in, tested, works great. Blue Ox has manufactured excellent quality twisted pair electrical cables. I had a Blue Ox coiled cord on my old camper for 10 years and it worked the whole time! Highly recommended!

The cable is great and doesn't need improvement but the two ports don't have a bracket so I had to improvise and they could also be a bit heavier. There are no instructions, but I think they think you should know what you're doing if you want to use it. If you need to replace either end of the cable, the connectors aren't standard 4-pin, or at least won't work with the regular 4-pin ones I got from Ace for another project. This saves a lot of time when connecting the tractor. However, when first plugged in, none of the lights worked. They all worked with our previous system. After opening the terminals of this connector, the husband found that 2 wires were unconnected and were dangling.
