Used reset switches when building my own transfer case. They are the same as in the commercial combiner box. They protect your load when power comes from the inverter connected to the solar system. If you lose power, flip the switch towards the inverter and the switches will protect you.

Items may look the same but I bought unnecessary reset switches that look like this. Blue Seas items may cost more. That's not what it is about. The decisive factor is whether the article is worth its money. The .250-inch diameter pins don't wobble, and this switch weighs more on my milligram scale. I never doubt the quality of Blue Seas busbars, switches, breakers or tools. Excellent breaker.

Replaced a faulty 15 amp switch in my 21 gallon Harbor Freight air compressor. The compressor quickly turned off the switch while running and I had to wait several times before pressing the button.
