DOESN'T WORK!: Multipurpose

Bought this item over a year ago, still haven't taken it out of the box. I tried to record with it and none of my computers recognized the mic when it was plugged in. Never buy refurbished or refurbished. Be sure to test the product upon receipt from this seller.

Love it! Excellent video sound quality.

I bought this model to connect to my Cannon camera. It worked great! Now I don't have to sync audio and video anymore. I have a Blue Yetti snowball, but I can't connect a camera or even a headset. I really couldn't tell it was renewed. It looks perfect and was professionally packed. I saved a few bucks and couldn't be happier.

maybe not the best for opera singers

this is a good mic but i still struggle with it. I'm an opera singer with a big voice and it's hard for me to get it right so as not to overload the processors. I also don't have enough experience to know if this is an issue with the device itself, my playback speakers, or my audio editing software. Loud-voiced singers are advised to turn off the amplification completely and stand at least three feet apart.

Worked for a few minutes. Then a hardware failure?

The saddest thing is that it worked for about 10 minutes when I brought it home! I hooked it up to my computer and it sounded great. I then connected it to my phone to test it with a video - didn't work. Reconnected to the computer and suddenly that didn't work either. 😫 What's really weird is that the computer detects the mic and it has power and all, and if you switch to stereo and back you can see a jump/burst in the audio which you can hear on playback! But no sound is recorded? Must be a…
