but a good unit. A little louder than me in the high register.

Bought this device based on customer feedback, works as promised, sometimes the WiFi connection drops out, but it's a good device. A bit louder in the highs than I expected, also not sure if this really affects our allergy relief. I still recommend it, definitely saw a difference in the dust in the room it sits in.

Excellent, highly rated and quiet!

Excellent, highly recommended! Bought this for my mom who is 88 and is on oxygen. She is very active, so I wanted the air in the house to be as clean as possible. She also recently replaced the carpeting in the lobby and bedrooms, and with the BlueAir purifier, she hasn't encountered any issues with outgassing or additional dust that could become airborne. I highly recommend BlueAir products!

Fiction. for HEPA air cleaner

Very solid equipment. It was bought because of the wildfires in the area that have been raging for several weeks and have constantly filled my studio apartment with smoke. This machine did its job perfectly. At a low level, you won't even know this device is on. On average you can hear the car, but it doesn't bother at all. At high revs, which I rarely need, at mid revs the air conditioner sounds. Great car - you get what you pay for!

Who wants a dinosaur?

Made a comparison between this and Rabbit Air MinusA2. The prices were about the same, but I ended up really liking Rabbit Air! While I found the Blue Air 405 to be very powerful, it lacked automatic mode, a touch display (sold separately), and more. For the same price, Rabbit Air includes auto mode, touch display, sleep mode, remote control, wall mount, and a much more aesthetic look. The Blue Air 405 was like a dinosaur, a big old-school processor that couldn't be hidden.

Very happy with it after the fire in our area

I was very happy with it and bought it after the fire from Thomas in Ventura and Santa Barbara CA. It's very quiet on low settings, but you'll notice more hum on medium to high settings. The filters only last about a year, which I didn't realize at first, and they're expensive, but it's probably worth knowing that the air in your room is always clean. The air purifier is very attractive and looks great in the living room, looks very nice in general.

Very quiet, can sleep and breathe at night, no WiFi required for use

Blueair Classic 405 has/has only been used in the bedroom for a few days. At low noise level: VERY quiet, with comfortable airflow throughout the bedroom; medium settings: louder, but probably tolerable for most people, also for sleeping - e.g. B. Turn on the fan at low speed in summer; A high setting is too loud for me, but it's the sound of air movement, not the sound of a car engine. Asthma/Allergy Use: Slept through the night and woke up with less stuffy nose. Also: I don't use WiFi at home

No quality control!

Blueair just ruined my brand loyalty. I bought a second unit and it smelled like chemicals to high heaven. I have never seen my dog leave the room as quickly as when I opened the box with a new device. So I call Blueair in Chicago. The customer's representative says the smell usually goes away after a few days but can last for more than a year. This information prompts me to trade the unit in for another as the irony of the toxic fumes the air purifier emits is too strong for me. Okay, a new…

This model was required due to the size of the room. The Android WiFi app doesn't really work (I'm a techie). It's amazing that BlueAir claims otherwise. (Just read the reviews on the Play Store). It has three speeds, but the low one literally spins so slowly that the candle flame held against the exhaust doesn't blow out. The average speed is very low; which is good when in the toilet or bathroom. High noise is loud, but I personally love white noise, so I just leave it high when the room is…

No connection to the network!

I bought a Blueair Classic 405 HEPASilent Filtration Wi-Fi Air Purifier and a Blueair AwareTM Indoor Air Quality Monitor so they can work together. The filter has worked flawlessly for about a year. Filter changed regularly. As the year progressed, the fan motor became louder and more noticeable. After about 14 months, the filter stopped connecting to the network. After several attempts to get the filter online I finally called Blueair CS and they couldn't help. They said they would forward my…
