Another fake pen sold

After reading the reviews I was afraid to buy another one and of course I sold the two tier pen! The box was already opened and the pen looked used. There was a layer of hardened material on top of the sensor and after washing and calibrating the stylus with what was provided, it doesn't read exactly like my blue pens I've had in the past. That's of a few decimal places and it's driving me crazy. Very disappointed in this purchase, knowing it's something that is drying up and not working…

Do not buy to test measure and verify

Good after 3 failed blue lab products qll is stocked according to service manual I bought this meter 4 in total this meter was bought overdue to the point of absolute necessity Reading the Ph while waiting for a response from tech support to basically tell me to kiss my ass, days and days went by with no answer to a simple question. So this meter was bought in an emergency, it failed after 2 months. Warranty? Maybe but hell with it they all go in the trash these gauges after being properly…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • No mold required

Difficult to maintain

I bought this product but downloaded the manual before opening it. I also watched some videos. I just wanted to get an accurate pool water PH level but the product has very strict maintenance requirements which may be ok for commercial applications but too much for pool PH levels. The meter must be kept in a special wetting solution, and if it dries out, the manual warns that the meter will become unusable. It also requires constant calibration. This meter may have a reputation for accuracy…

Just don't, use a solution based pH tester instead

I bought this blue lab PH pen to get a more accurate reading than the solution PH test kit can do. (Place drops in this small clear container, shake to mix and record the color reading). However, this PH pen is a joke when it comes to consistency. My $2 test kit always gives the same readings, but this PH pen seems to have a mind of its own, the readings change from day to day with the same mix of dilutions. (And note, I'm starting with distilled water and using oral syringes for measuring, so…

Accurate, fast calculations and superior build quality.

Excellent pH pen! It has powerful, fast and accurate calculations and an easy-to-use interface. The difference between a quality Bluelab pen and a cheaper one is immediately noticeable in use and design. It's got an impressive backlit display, temperature gauge, auto on/off, and a solid overall feel. Using a AAA battery is the most preferred over the tiny watch batteries used in most other pH pens. Don't waste your time looking for cheaper options. The "cheap" versions can't keep up in terms of
