That does not work. for bottom bracket

Slips off easily. The edges are not even. you bend. So he's not sitting. Absolutely useless"tool". I sharpened mine to make a clean edge and it still didn't work.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • replacement available

Screw missing for parts and components

This works, but for stubborn removal choose a kit of these that includes a screw that secures it to the slide to prevent slipping. Really just go for them - they're just a bit bigger.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Disappear

Not good. - Cycling

Not so great. Immediately began to remove the bowl from BB. I returned it and paid extra money for the park tool version. There was day and night. I think sometimes you really do get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Some little things

Works best for sports

I used all the tricks in the book to disassemble the bike without this tool. nothing worked. I spent about 2 hours removing the bearing but I never did it. I received this tool and it took me 2 minutes, I removed the bearings and already started cleaning

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons

Rounded slots do not work

The one in the photo is different from what you get. The slots on it are narrower which means it doesn't hold onto the bottom bracket well. Turn a simple job into a constant struggle. Spend a few dollars more and get the Park Tool. Avoid this at all costs.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Protection

AVOID! DO NOT BUY! for cycling

Not working. This is false advertising as there is a flat end on the part where the teeth enter the bottom bracket. Instead, the edges are beveled and slide around no matter what you do. Whoever designed and implemented this should not be in this business. I will go back and buy a properly designed instrument. This comment will probably be buried. Definitely avoid!

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Requires patience with non-drive side

Maybe that's the nature of the beast, but I had to take a bolt long enough to thread through the puller and into the spindle to lock it when removing the old one lock Shimano cartridge bottom bracket. I then had to improvise another thru-bolt to hold the tool tight enough to remove the locking ring from the other side since the splines don't mesh at all. Luckily, the left latch came out without much effort. I'll see how it goes when the new car arrives next week. I hope it fits better.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Functionality

Want a tool that slips more than it works? That's it!

Not sure if the tool was made wrong or wrong size. When removing the fairly good Shimano bottom bracket shell from the non-drive side (which was plastic) it was very tight and actually required a bit of hammering to get it into the plastic. Then, when installing the new bottom bracket, I noticed an odd fit that made tightening difficult. The drive side was particularly difficult to tighten because the edge of the tool is rounded and the tool slippage is not flush with the slide at all. Removing

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • No instructions
