This player costs less than a good stylus, but it plays music. As a gift for my 7 year old son this is a delicate toy which I hope will last long enough for him to learn vinyl etiquette. The sound quality is what you would expect from a ceramic pickup and tiny speakers. The vocals are easy to read, the bass is not, ideal for the children's room.
