These are genuine BMW filters which cost 20% less than the dealer parts store. It is also very easy to change them yourself (you can find a video on YouTube). I would recommend buying this online and replacing it yourself to save good money.

I bought this 2 years ago for $36 for TWO filters not one. Just buy the Mann filter for BMW as it is the same product but only $17 each. The strange thing about these filters was that thin green pieces, constantly flaking off, flew out of the air vents and into the car. I'm not sure what exactly caused this, but the filters didn't filter out these particles.

The filter set is easy to replace. Pay attention to the notch on the filter after removing the housing from the car to ensure you position it correctly. After cleaning the two front air intakes and changing the filters, the air was noticeably devoid of the smell of some leaves that had gotten into the underhood case.
