No True Backlight - Remote Controls

Works great on our 2017 Samsung Smart TV, but note that the backlight only illuminates the volume and channel buttons, nothing else.

I have bought a few of these remotes for several TVs over the last few years. They all worked just as well as the originals. They are slightly lighter than the original.

Pass this. - Audio and video accessories

Easy to use when it works, in most cases the buttons are unresponsive. I had to send it back, it seems a lot cheaper than the original, it's just not worth it. Buy a different type.

Backlight for 3 buttons only - All other functions work well

I bought this remote to use mainly at night for the backlight function. I was disappointed to see that only 3 buttons were lit - volume, channel and light button. However, all other remote control functions work as advertised on my multi-generation Samsung TVs.

Don't pay the full OEM price for an old TV, buy this

Because original equipment manufacturer materials are usually perfect for the original equipment, they are also perfect as a replacement. But beyond that, Samsung wants to stop building old stuff. they want to do new things. Then someone else comes along to build a perfectly working replacement for 1/3 the cost. It worked great. Would buy again if needed. It seems they will never survive television.

REJECT IN A FEW MONTHS! That works (most of the time). I do not like it. i will keep it

UPDATE: After just a few months the right scroll button is starting to stick. It still works, but I suspect it's on its last legs. It is functionally compatible with my Samsung TV. In the original, all or most of the keys would be lit; Only a couple does that, which only very rarely disturbs at night. I don't like light weight.
