Poor quality

I wrapped the toroid with teflon tape to prevent a short circuit to the core. After a single use, the coils were bent relative to each other. I didn't get close to the nominal temperature or the current. So I figured it was an accident so I rewound a new length of this wire and it lasted about the same and broke short between turns. I wound the torus again with another brand of wire with the same parameters, and everything has been fine ever since. Clearly inferior enamel.

quality is bad! 36AWG will blow in less than 1 amp!

36AWG thin as thin hair! That's the size of this thing, so just for reference! I gave a low rating because I can't get 1 amp with this burning stuff! And while they gave us ACCESS on both ends, it's only ACCESS! If any of this breaks, you're SOL! You should give me at least an inch or two, even better! As another reviewer said, it's poor quality so I don't recommend it! Should have read more reviews before buying!

This product is exactly as shown. This is the size of a regular spool of thread. I have no complaints about the product, but the delivery was somewhat problematic. I think this delivery required a signature. It wasn't delivered on the day it was supposed to be delivered. I paid $9 and had it altered to find it again and when I received the package there were shoe prints on every inch of the mailing envelope. Thank god it was copper wire and not fragile glass. The last delivery sucked. I usually
