Bo Toys Body Board Lightweight 41 INCH Review

Bought this for my 14 year old before spending a week at the beach. It's better quality than many boogie boards, the bottom has a plastic liner that lasts longer and has a better "boogie" feel than the cheaper foam boards we've used in the past. I bought 3, one for each son and after 6 full days of use they are still intact.

I bought 2 bodyboards, one each size for my son and daughter for a beach vacation. I thought I was buying a quality board that can be used for multiple seasons, which will reflect in the price. My son used it for literally a day and the back plastic trim peeled off rendering the board unusable. In hindsight I would buy $15 boards at the beach and keep the packaging.

It's been a long and difficult delivery because the first one is "lost" somewhere, which I think happens. Then we take it out and take it to the beach and on the FIRST day the bottom plastic piece completely separates from the foam piece. So disappointed but getting first place was so painful that I don't even want to think about replacing him.

I bought this for my grandson's birthday in May and the bottom of the boogie board came off the body after just a few uses. For the money I expected it to last at least that long lasts like me I don't know who gave this product such high marks - maybe they were lucky and got a well made one. :( I noticed that other reviewers were complaining about the same issue so beware!

I paid for TWO of these bo-toys boogie boards that say they "come with a leash that attaches to your wrist". But THERE IS NO RIDE WITH ANYBODY. Which seller does that? You can't buy a 12-year-old a boogie board as a birthday present without a leash. Especially in Hawaii. Leashes can prevent drowning. This is very dishonest and even more dangerous. I would not recommend this company, Bo-Toys, and their false advertising at all!

I bought this because of the good reviews but they must all be fake. The item I received was not worth the price. The reason I ordered this was for the quality (turns out there is none). I don't mind using a cheap bodyboard from CVS (which I bought anyway because I returned this item) but if I'm paying a significant amount for a bodyboard I expect it to be of better quality than that, that I bought at the pharmacy. Sturdy boards for my adventurous boys (12 and 9 years old) who like to seek harder waves to boogie board. No problems, good construction and light weight. They withstood waves and sand for up to a week. Can't speak to general durability, but my guys have tested them for durability, and with the exception of a few areas where the design is lighter and a couple of dents where rocks hit each other (which for these boards in my book is normal), you will definitely be ready to use. use again next…
