Description of Boardwalk BWK9008 Grout Brush with Nylon Bristles and Long Handle – Efficient Cleaning Tool for Tiles

Grout brush can be used for cleaning tiles and grout lines. Nylon bristles can be used in wet or dry conditions and resist stains and odors. Plastic block and handle resist cracking, warping, and bacteria growth. Upswept shape helps facilitate cleaning along grout lines and in other hard-to-reach spots. Handle measures 8-1/8" long; bristles are 7/8" long.

Great for Char Broil Infrared Grill

This works great for removing clippings from the Char Broil Tru Infrared Grill. Know that this is not what it is intended for, but it is legal.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • It's hard to remember but it was

Works great, but be careful!

Don't push too hard - be careful with rough grout, this powerful brush will REMOVER weaker grout. Can clean an unpolished joint well, but requires a light touch. Cleans very well, holds up great after a few weeks of use.

Pros
  • Outstanding all round performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good product, especially at such a low price

The bristles are stiff but not rough, do not damage the grout but seem to penetrate the texture for cleaning. I use peroxide to remove the dirt and some kosher salt as an abrasive. Some people use salt and vinegar. Same idea: chemical cleaner, mild abrasive. Good price, good product.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Long wait

Medium brush: could be better.

The shape of the bristles, their density and rigidity are good. Haven't used it long enough to give an endurance rating. The grip is cheap and uncomfortable: it has a concavity that causes its edges to dig into the hand when the hand is gripped tightly without gloves. The Rubbermaid commercial tile and grout brush has a similar grip disadvantage. I prefer the Quickie Lysol grout brush.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Periodicity

The handle length is misleading

I was surprised that the handle length of this brush was shorter than expected. I figured the length of the pencil was measured from the end of the brush (because who would consider the brush itself part of the pencil?). The advertised length of 8 1/8 inches includes almost 2 1/2 inches of the brush so the actual handle is just under 6 inches. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to return it, but I don't think it will quite do what I wanted it to do.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Extendable

Uses other than grout

I actually bought this because I have a fenced in back yard and 2 German Shepherds and although I try to keep up with "litter control" I sometimes step on a mine. I have mud wellies that have ribbed soles for good grip in the mud, but they can't just be hosed down. This brush is narrow and has the right stiffness, and when combined with a basic green and garden hose, it cleans instantly. Also, the brush itself is easy to clean, so you don't have your boss's ideas, sorry, I mean poop clogs the…

eh, more for easy cleaning in tight spaces.

This is a good brush. Good 1) Decent grip 2) Hard bristles Bad: 1) The angle you hold the brush is just awkward and requires you to tighten your wrist significantly to reduce the force. I used it to clean 12" grout around a kitchen tile and after about 10 minutes I got quite uncomfortable. When you're brushing something, you want to put your weight on it, and the way you have to hold that brush makes timing difficult. 2) The bristles are nice but maybe too long. If you use too much force, they…

probably good for occasional light use e.g. B. Weekend cleaning.

The price of this item fluctuates - I was able to get it for less than $2 so I am considering that price. Anything over $1-2 and the rating is 1 star. This brush is not ideal for intensive grout cleaning, it will likely be suitable for occasional light use, such as cleaning small areas over the weekend. The quality of the bristles is comparable to a thin overgrown toothbrush as after just one project (about 10ft x 10ft tiled floor) with moderate brushing their bristles have warped like a worn…
