The tension was wrong and my bobbin thread was constantly showing at the top of my project. I ordered this bobbin case because the brush in my original case was broken so I removed the brush from that broken case and then attached it to my original case, now it works great. I hate it even though I had to pay over $9 for a small brush. I would not order this product again, it does not work with my Brother PE770.

I knew from the start it was going to cause trouble. As you know, embroidery machines are picky. The bobbin case was nothing like the original; The sensor was in a different spot, the blue fluffy part was black when replaced, etc. I guess you get what you pay for, lesson learned. I called my brother and ordered the correct replacement. To save a euro up front, it will cost you more in the end if you waste fleeces, shirts, etc. I only used the new bobbin case briefly and it sucked fabric through

I have over 2 million stitches on my PE700ii and was having tension issues that I knew were due to my original bobbin case. The tension wasn't strong enough right out of the box. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, there is a blue-green substance over the tension screw. I just took a straight pin and pulled it off slightly, then tightened the coil a bit and tested my design. It took me about 3 times to get the tension right and so far it's working great! I'm glad I got the spool a lot cheaper…
