I hesitated to buy them. The store I bought from warned me that any other brand of bobbin case would "ruin my machine". They work great and the price is reasonable. Of course, as with all new bobbin cases, it takes patience and sure instinct to achieve the correct tension.

Not at all what you would expect from an order of 18045 bobbin cases. Instead of the standard solid "football" spring with play protection, a non-solid "meander" spring can be used in these cases (not to be confused with the non-solid TOWA spring). They were also covered in corrosion on the inner surfaces, raising doubts as to whether they were actually new bobbin cases. Definitely not what I expected but too many issues to deal with returns. You get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

I've been looking for this for almost 2 years as parts for Artisan 611-AB are very hard to find these days. Not only did it fit perfectly, it required no tension adjustments at all. NOBODY!
