Makes coffee as good as a French Press but is very easy to clean. Just pour wet ground coffee into the bin and wash the filter. It would be even better if the inner ring of the filter holder could fit into a normal coffee mug. The double wall coffee mug is plastic, not the prettiest, but for $10 I shouldn't complain. You can simply use the filter/holder on your favorite mugs for it to sit on. This is probably the best coffee maker you can buy for $10.

I didn't look closely at the description as reviews of other better bodum pourers have all fused with the one for this 12 oz version. It's plastic. Making coffee is fun, but drinking it out of a plastic cup makes it cheaper (dude, I'm dramatizing too much!) and probably unhealthy. It also makes a very small cup of coffee. . I love the taste and also use it with a paper filter until my chemex arrives. Spend the extra money and buy a larger Glasbodum or a Chemex.

It does the job. However, there are a few things I don't like. First, it takes forever to brew a cup of coffee. I have to fill the filter several times before I have a full cup. I prefer to pour water, leave and come back to a full cup. Second, I don't like the "feet" on the bottom of the holder.
