Bohin Milliners Hand Needles - Sewing Package Review

Very sharp and ideal for hand quilting. Easily grips fabric and glides over fibers. The length is perfect for my hands that don't have the dexterity they used to have.

I've just started a new English paper piecing project and found reviews of these needles promising easy threading and threading through fabric. I'm really disappointed to give a bad review but I can't get my thread through my eyes. I tried 3 needles with Gutermann yarn (cotton C Ne 50). I also can't fit a wire (standard silver, looks like a coin) through the eye hole. The eyes are very small and I am upset. This is a size 10 hatter. Making English paper appliqué and some hand appliqué. I have tried almost all needles of different sizes, lengths and brands. These are without a doubt the most amazing needles out there. The length of the modiste makes it easy to make PE foam appliques and appliques and they slide easily across fabric. That would be enough to favor them, but what sets them apart from all the other needles I've tried is the eye. I wear trifocals and find it difficult to thread a needle without a needle threader
