Description of ๐Ÿ›น Bones Big Balls Reds: High-Quality Skateboard Bearings 8 Pack

BIG BALLS, the newest member of our REDS family. BIG BALLS are engineered to roll faster and last longer by using 6, 17% larger balls, like our legendary Bones Super Swiss 6 bearings. These larger balls let you roll faster, and keep rolling right through dirt that slows smaller balls down. Includes: Set of 8 bearings, instructions, and sticker. Higher top speed, greater strength, longer life, easy cleaning, and light weight. Skate Rated design.

Great camp!

Was looking for new bearings to replace the stock bearings on my nickel penny board. I came across them on the Bones Bearings website and decided to check out Revain. Luckily they were in stock and I decided to give them a try. My penny nickel board is now noticeably smoother and faster. I almost never have to kick the board to keep going. These camps are great!

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Some nuances

Bearing defective - Bearing

I have been buying red ones for my son for several years. Have tried others but always come back to red. Bought him big balls for Christmas. Unfortunately he only put them on his board a few weeks ago and one of the bearings has already broken. It's been 30 days to return. I'm pretty sure it was just a bad camp. We will try again. If the problem persists, we will resend the regular red bearings.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

My kid loves these bearings

Big balls really make your board go faster. Your trainer is very happy with the way we put this deck together. This is her third and she's only 10 and has been riding since April, but she already knows how to rock fakeys, 5-0 and air out the quarter pipe. It can descend about 10 feet. My kid is straight and we love bones. We'll probably use larger balls for what we're doing right now, no matter what boned bearings are great.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

They are insanely fast

I've had my eye on these low friction Bones Reds Big Balls for a long time. They have 6 slightly larger steel bearings than the original 7 bearings. The design is well balanced and thanks to the 6 evenly spaced bearings with deeper raceways they run smoother and faster. In addition, the price is the BEST that can be offered on the internet. Try a set of these, they're under $20 with free shipping. Once you try them, they may be the only bearings you will ever buy.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Frequency

Lubricate even though they are new

Bought these after experiencing the magic of the Bones Super Swiss 6. I was very disappointed at first and almost returned it. They were smooth but lacked Swiss 6 speed or range (felt worse than the original REDS). I decided to add some speed cream to them (although they are pre-oiled). Maybe they sat on the shelf for a while and most have expired? But that changed everything! They still can't compete with the Swiss 6, but they feel smoother and faster than the original REDS.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some issues

Super slow, not Swiss 6

These bearings don't work as well as my Swiss 6 bearing set. When the bearing spins it starts to spin quickly then the balls close and immediately slow the bearing. They felt noticeably slower when driving and during freeplay tests than the Swiss 6, Bronson G3, Bronson Raw, Spaceballs and Oldboy and Ceramics Chrome. These didn't go well at all. I've cleaned them with acetone and tried different lubes but they didn't help the bearing. They are poorly made and have too much play. They are as good

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Slightly torn

The best skate camps for the money!

I've been skateboarding for almost 30 years now and I use Bones Big Ball on all my push boards because they have fewer defects than other bearings. Very good camps for your money, not Swiss but for those paying more obviously. These bearings run very fast and are of better quality than Bronson G3 bearings. When you put them on your wheels, use two drops of cream and ride the board for about 14 miles to install the bearings. The speed will increase and the bearings will last for years. I install

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Almost never
