Unstable, broke after a few miles

I might have gotten a few bad ones but these seemed pretty unstable to begin with, I thought they would break in after riding them a bit. After driving 2 miles I heard a loud click of a wheel. I can't say I will be buying bone storage anytime soon.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Something else

Lasts a long time for the price

I've been using these bearings on my longboard for a long time and they hold up to some rough conditions. I clean them semi-regularly, but I want them to resist the accumulation of dirt and micro-dust to a minimum. But for the price I think it's worth it. In general, they are worth it.

Pros
  • Cool item
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

best performance in this price range

The quantum leap over Oust Bearings made ib the Ratdog videos popular - for the cost they are significantly better than Big Swiss Six Bones over the life of the product - if I were an aggressive carver I have feel the shift could be better, but for the land going down the dam at Galveston - flat and smooth, that's not close. Bones from Swiss Ceramics purchased 6/14/17 are better than this product, not sure how much better yet.

Pros
  • endurance test results
Cons
  • old

ATTENTION TO THE BUYER. NOT CORRECT!

I bought these from Revain last year and couldn't be happier :) on set anyway. When I opened the package, the print on the box was matte instead of glossy. But as if that mark wasn't enough, all the bearings wobbled right out of the box as if the ceramic balls didn't fit properly. One of them doesn't spin freely. I almost left them just to show people, but I need the money for serious skateboarding products. Lessons learned. Like I said, I used to know Revain well, but this was an eye openerโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Three out of eight bad

We stopped three camps roughly and quickly. The other five were like soft, warm butter. I figured I'd have to break them in, brush them, rub them with bone cream, but those same three felt like they were grinding and the wheels were slowing down quickly. I return them and Revane said they were well priced as I bought them for $50 and they came back to $70. I told them to wait because I don't know if I want to take the risk again. I recently bought yellow cup steel bearings and just installedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for older people
