Very soft. - Hubs

Probably worth 5 stars because they are soft but too soft. Choose Medium unless you weigh less than 140 pounds. I blew out the soft bushings the first day I rode them.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Very expensive

Burned out in less than a week.

The hubs felt great and ran great on the road, but they broke in half in less than a week. I'm not a great skater either. I took them off for two sessions and in the middle of the second session one of the upper sleeves just fell apart. Bones is usually a great brand but this is the second set I've had in three months and they just keep exploding.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Useless features

Good bushings best in bushings

These are SOFT bushings as the name suggests. Only one washer is used for the upper smaller bushing. I used to ride Med Doh-Doh but wanted to switch to a looser feel. Some dare trucks are fitted with bone bushings and run like butter. Super smooth turns, but at the expense of squeaky noise. That's all good because the ride is much more responsive and stable.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Brief instructions

DO NOT BUY from Skateboarding

Terrible hubs, DO NOT BUY. They rode light for literally weeks, and my friends' bushings are still going strong. I've never experienced this, I don't even know how to get my bolts out because they're so sunk in the sockets. Screw in these bushings. Terrible. Poorly. Terrible. Wanted to have a skate session and now all that's left is the pain and sadness of a board that can't be ridden. Also, they became weaker and weaker and forced me to pull up trucks every other day.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Not the best

Amazing for lost truck drivers. Don't buy if you don't want to lose trucks

These jacks are amazing. I haven't actually ridden them yet. But I climbed onto my board and felt the trucks get confused. I wanted my trucks lost. But pre-texturing bushings are just damn stiff. I've got these babies dressed and I'm spinning so hard I'm biting the wheel now. Don't buy them if you don't like lost trucks. Or even average. They are so soft I think they will just pop when you try to tie the trucks down. Perfect for me not to buy new trucks or anything like that.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Nothing here

To lose! Suitable for Skateboarding

Kill Sleeves. I ride such that the nylon portion of the kingpin barely engages the kingpin - FREE bogies - and they are nice and soft and stay consistent with whatever pressure you put on them in a turn. If you don't drive bulk trucks, this isn't for you. But I would also say if you don't skate, you still don't skate. So loosen up those trucks and learn the word "cut". You will find that what appears to be "out of control" at first glance is actually largely "under control". Do that.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Transparent
