DO NOT BUY ! for kitchen and dining room

absolute crap. it spills to pour ALWAYS. I cut holes in the mesh to hold the coffee beans, which helped a bit. It keeps coffee hotter longer than a glass press, but it's not worth the spillage. It spills EVERY spill. I've waited too long to come back and now I'm stuck with it. you have been warned

Sturdy, works but drips on counter

I bought this to replace something similar, more like a canister. I actually wanted it for camping, but this one is a bit heavier. It has a nice design and the coffee stays warm, making it a good kettle. But it tends to drip onto the counter when poured. My friend always complains about it.

Not bad. Good product, price a bit high

Stainless steel is great. Keeps coffee warmer than a non-insulated French Press. The screen on the flask is a bit odd, with the ability to close/turn off the 'brew'. No need and I've already replaced it with another screen. The main downside is that you just can't see how much coffee is in there. I never thought about how important it is until I could ;)

Pros
  • I always liked it
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Heat loss and dripping

Good idea and good product. Minor issues are a lot of heat loss from the single layer lid, the pad close feature works well but it takes some fiddling to get it back to the open position (you can't just twist the knob to open it; twist She closes the Nob well though). I'm editing my review after using it for about a year. I confess I was frustrated with the poor design of the spout and the inevitable drips. Plan to wash your counter after every watering - for that price, they should fix the…

Full of glass

The glass press pots I had in the past become brittle after a while and shatter at the slightest impact, I was fed up with that and looked for a stainless steel pot. In fact, I got a little more than I was hoping for. This pot has the ability. Well I think when you stop brewing you can twist the handle on top to separate the grounds from the coffee pot. I've never had this in a jug press and it's a very nice feature if you're not serving all the coffee at once. Press pots sometimes have loops…

Great coffee pot.: Coffee machines

I often don't have time to make coffee in the morning. But everything has changed since I bought the "little miracle" from Revain Daily Deals. I have an electric kettle that boils water in about a minute, so you know all I have to do is toss coarse coffee grounds into a steamed BonJour French Press, pour in boiling water, stir, and squeeze out after 2 minutes of brewing. Voila! Fresh coffee that tastes great and is excellent. I found this coffee pot easy to clean. Even the screen. Some had…

Well adjustable French Press

Plastic. For those of you trying to avoid its coffee flavor, I've done some work! I called the manufacturer before ordering this product and they stated there was no plastic on the plunger. Well, technically that's true as all the dip parts are stainless steel, but the lid insert that goes down to the spout and has an extra, unnecessary strainer IS plastic. The good news is that all you have to do is unscrew the top ball, remove the cap and pull out the entire plastic element. Then reassemble…
