💪 Pair of Gas Spring Hood Lift Support Struts Shock for Volvo S80 V70 1999-2014 S60 XC70 Review

It was too small for my 2007 Volvo S80 but I fitted them and they work but they don't open as wide as the originals. Would recommend if you are looking for a car similar to mine rather than looking for larger ones.

Just fitted it so can't comment on durability which is obviously important. I can say that the setup for my 2004 XC70 was perfect and the construction of this part is much more solid than the original equipment. The operation was very positive and it was of excellent quality and it was sent and delivered very very quickly.

These are very simple hydraulic shock absorbers that have many uses. They would even fit in the lid of my tool box but I needed them for the volvo 06. the volvo s60 only requires one bonnet strut not two so I was skeptical they would hold up for the price. To my surprise, the single shock held it up perfectly even in the cold where those hydraulic shocks struggled. Would definitely buy again if I need it but with an extra it probably won't be any time soon.
