I've tried a variety of scissors, pliers and wire cutters/pliers and paid up to $150 for these super awesome all-round pliers/nippers. and $50 for Simms guide tongs. None of them remain sharp after a few dozen cuts, regardless of the thickness of the lines. The most annoying thing is that they can NEVER cut the braid. Boomerang is amazing.
