Don't buy this even though I like color e-ink readers. I got this because it uses Android and doesn't block you on their ebook stores so you can add any app to Android eBook readers. It can control video from the handset but it's not the best but it works. It was great to read. What confuses me is all those bright white dots on the screen. I've had a Kindle Paperwhite for many years and while it wasn't perfect it was cheap, small, light, lasted a long time and was very easy to use. read independently of the lighting. I was forced to find an alternative as I couldn't access reading material from other subscription services with the device. So I started looking for other eInk readers. Apart from the unconvincing performance of the device, I have had bad experiences with this item. I received the device but it appears to be used. The package was not sealed. There were a lot of fingerprints on all devices. Some APK files have been downloaded and installed on the device. These downloaded files are still in the Downloads folder. The device settings do not match the default settings. I could just restore the device to its original state to avoid possible privacy and malware…
