Fast and high quality

15 minutes for installation. Using my bluetooth OBD-II reader I cleared the codes and after a few days of driving I passed the emissions without incident. *You will need OEM replacement clips as they are difficult to salvage without an awl or similar. Here are the clamps I used: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006IOZ3YUBluetooth-OBD-II-Reader -- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NLQAHS

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • The list will be long.

The OE part works great and fits great.

Fairly easy to install. Works great and fixed my evap error code. Note that the hose that attaches to the right side has an attachment piece that cannot be removed without cutting the hose. If you're buying this part for a VW/Audi, you should check if they sell it with hoses already attached. Otherwise, you'll have to replace the hose as soon as you realize it can't be reused, or try to cut it off and reattach the adhesive.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Fine

Fixed my P0455 evaporative code for a 2001 Range Rover 4.6L

. I have a check engine light for my 2001 Range Rover 4.6L. After scanning the codes, a large leak was found P0455 - Evaporator Control System. After some searching, I was pointed to the purge valve as a possible culprit. So I took out my old one, hooked it up to a hand held vacuum gauge and quickly found that it didn't need a vacuum. It was quickly determined that the flushing valve was defective. I ordered this one and did the same test before installing it and it held a vacuum with noโ€ฆ

Pros
  • . Handy item
Cons
  • . Was damaged

Also referred to as Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Control Valve in VW service manuals - N80. This is a very easy to replace part, located under a cover next to the flexible air intake hose. The original part uses disposable clips that you must cut with wire cutters. So don't forget to buy some small clamps. I had a P0441 code/check engine light that was preventing the car from passing the MOT. So first replace the gas cap with the city cap and reset the light. If it lights up again afterโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Fairing

  • I don't remember

Emission problem fixed on 03 VW Passat Wagon 2.8L B6

Amazing OE quality product. Installation was very easy and took about 30 minutes from start to finish. My 2003 Volkswagen Passat Wagon (2.8L V6) was showing codes P0171 and P0174. After replacing the rear O2 sensor and PCV hose (they were needed) the car was still giving the same codes. After resetting and running the MIL, I received a new P0401 code related to the EGR system. Apparently this purge valve is a known problem on these vehicles and can result in a lean, rich and/or EGR systemโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Negative result available
