. I have a check engine light for my 2001 Range Rover 4.6L. After scanning the codes, a large leak was found P0455 - Evaporator Control System. After some searching, I was pointed to the purge valve as a possible culprit. So I took out my old one, hooked it up to a hand held vacuum gauge and quickly found that it didn't need a vacuum. It was quickly determined that the flushing valve was defective. I ordered this one and did the same test before installing it and it held a vacuum with no issues. Reinstalled this, completed drive cycle C and the code was no longer active. I reset the codes but he hasn't returned in a few months. At this price I can definitely recommend it.
