Structural ribs added to provide increase stability of filter; product comes with multi colors (blue and white). Cabin air filters should be replaced at least once every 12 months (or every 12K miles).

Disappointed with cabin filter

I have always found Bosch filters to be the best, but this cabin filter only had half the pleats of the Mopar original. My car is a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Will switch back to OEM soon

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Cheaply Made - Cabin Air Filter

I won't be back. And it fits my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Diesel. However, the photos show how cheap the product is with a much smaller filter area. I would not buy this brand again.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Great product, great price, easy install, quick delivery

Some service centers charge a ridiculous amount to replace the cabin filter. The filter for the Grand Cherokee is located just behind the glove box. A ten minute installation and is recommended if you are using your air conditioner's recirculation function.

Pros
  • nice deal
Cons
  • flimsy

Not even a cabin filter

I'm serious it's not even a cabin filter, please see the two photos attached it says 'perfect for GC 2016' BUT I got a lot of noise when blowing air quality and also the quality is really very bad, look at the 2nd photo in comparison side by side, the gray one is a real interior filter with very solid quality. Therefore I would not recommend this filter to jeep drivers.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Something else

Strongly blocks airflow into the cabin

I like other filters better, including carbon. This media is too dense and blocks LOTS of airflow into the passenger compartment, causing the A/C fan to work harder than it should due to back pressure. I wouldn't use them long term. I will not buy this brand again. I only bought a Bosch because my regular filter was sold out and I've used Bosch products before with no problems.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

6040C HEPA filter. highlighted.

Many complain that it is thin and deformed during installation, but I did not have such a problem. Installed well; the same size as the factory original; works well. I've seen other reviews that this filter restricts airflow. I didn't have that problem here either. The airflow seems to be the same. Maybe other users installed backwards? I do not know. I used mine on a 2017 Dodge Durango RT. Works perfectly. The air smells cleaner. Installed with no problems. Does NOT restrict airflow. Overall I

Great HEPA filters!

I use Atmotube Pro to measure PM1, PM2.5, PM10 and VOCs in my car. I found these Bosch Automotive Cabin Air Filters to be extremely effective at fine dust (PM) filtration; however, they do not filter total volatile organic compounds (VOCs) well. I live in a very polluted environment, so I often use good quality cabin filters while driving. I've found that to get truly clean air in my car, I first have to turn the car's airflow off until the VOC levels go down according to the Atmotube Pro…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Too restrictive in hot weather

Restricts a lot of airflow, cleans great so I only use it during the worst part of allergy season and then swap out for something that flows during the really hot months. It should be fine in spring and fall. To get the same airflow you need to turn on two fan modes, 5 is like the old 3. It's loud at higher settings and won't cut it at high temperatures. It is more than likely that the AC coil will freeze due to the limited airflow. This is an allergy sufferer's dream at the moment, because in…
