Improved Bandsaw Blade

The saw blade fits perfectly and is three times as deep, which is much better for straight cuts without having to think about the material. Much better than the OEM blades for this B&D band saw

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Waste of money - band saw blades

I use a table band saw to cut 1" squares out of 1/16" strip of brass (soft). This canvas was fried after 48 cuts. cuts for the same price! Very disappointed but decided to give it a try. I'm glad I didn't buy a few.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Crumpled

Disappointment: Saw Blades, Parts & Accessories

So disappointed. I finally have some free time to install this blade and it's acting like it's allergic to metal. It no longer bites on the second touch. I'm assuming it's just defective as I've bought a knife of the same brand before and it worked perfectly. Of course the return period expires in a few days, otherwise I would have sent it back! Spring.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • So so

Brittle, brittle and stupid.

I tried this saw blade on a new band saw and noticed clear burn marks, teeth breaking after only 2 cuts and an overall unpleasant feeling when cutting. I know it didn't saw as I swapped out the blade for a cheap one and it saw perfectly, no burn marks and all the teeth remained. I'm disappointed and won't be buying this knife anytime soon.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I'm not as sharp as I thought and this blade is

It was a waste of money. I bought this for a small band saw that I bought to cut plain mild steel about 1/8" thick. The blade just cracked like the steel was hardened, I can assure you it wasn't was. Eventually the teeth were so rounded they couldn't even cut wood. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! Don't buy this for anything thicker than 1/32". I would ask for my money back but the time, packaging - and shipping costs far exceed the value of this cheap blade.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • I'll add later

but despite everything it seems to be a good blade

This blade didn't do what I was hoping for, but it still seems a good blade. steel for hardening. It had a convincing dent, but neither it nor my cheap saw did the job. Now I guess I need something with a lot fewer teeth. e: I've now upgraded from 3 to 4 stars after using this on hardwood. This lightweight blade is well worth the money on hardwood, but I've since also tried it on a 3/8 zinc plated steel shank with no success except a dent and heating.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Doubtful

Ideal for aluminum(i)um bearings.

Purchased for thinner cuts in aluminum alloys using a WEN3656 saw. WEN comes with a very rough blade (about two inches per tooth :-) which, while capable of cutting my stock, leaves a very rough edge. So I got a POWERTEC 13154 24 dpi blade. This one was still walking around even after being adjusted and worst of all it was aluminum sealed. I can pick and pull out bonded teeth, but not for long. Such a pain! I finally got this Bosch BS5912 18tpi. It slices through the same aluminum alloy as…
