Description of Bosch GWS13 60 High Performance Angle Grinder
Powerful motor - 13 amps and 9,300 rpm. Carbon brushes - more durable than previous generation brushes. Direct-motor cooling for higher overload capabilities. Constant electronics - level operation and reliable speed under load. Two-position Vibration Control side handle for more user comfort.
As an industrial welder and fabricator, I need a reliable and efficient tool to tackle tough jobs. Based on my experience, this angle grinder has surpassed all expectations. Its high-performance motor effortlessly cuts through metal and other materials, and the ergonomic design allows for comfortable extended use. The only con is that it's a bit heavier than some other models, but that's a minor complaint compared to the quality of its performance.
As industrial plant owners we buy them from a local supplier. And of course they don't make them like they did 30 years ago. But these grinders: THEY HAD CONTINUED TO LAST 2 WEEKS. Is it complete scrap or are they sold as new after a general overhaul. I don't know what they are but they are the exact same grinder models we buy locally and they last almost a year before the brushes wear out. Last time we bought them at Revain.
This 6" Bosch grinder gets stuck when you get aggressive, especially with cut-off wheels. Does the job, but you have to let the tool do the job. I wanted to like it, but instead I had to get myself a Metabo 6". Well, live and learn. A few positive notes: It's made in Germany, is pretty safe to use and will probably last forever because that has she won't be tortured (because he chokes and quits).
