Bosch Spline Speed X Rotary HC4031 Review

Bosch slotted drill bits are really well made and strong enough for the most demanding applications. We used this drill bit to install 3/4 deep wall studs in 18" reinforced concrete walls with consistently positive results. I've been working with these beats for ten years and have only broken one in that time. Pay attention to the dimensions, as the total length given is not entirely usable.

This item should be 23 inches long and 18 inches usable. However, it is actually 21 inches long and has a usable length of 14 inches. At first I thought they had sent me the wrong item but the plastic tag on the end of the wedge confirms it is indeed HC4032 3/4" and the actual overall length chart should be 21" and the usable working end 14". . . If you want to be sure you are getting what is advertised, I recommend calling Bosch customer service to confirm actual measurements.

I've always liked Bosch because of the high quality and the production in Europe instead of in China. I compared the price and quality of Bosch to others like DeWalt. To my surprise, DeWalt was priced too high by Revain. I needed a concrete drill to drill a hole in the basement walls to rearrange the plumbing.
