Excellent chisel. the best of hand tools

Excellent chisel. Have used it to gouge about 30 feet of 1/2 to 1-1/2 inch grooves in concrete basement walls and have seen no signs of wear. For the job I used a Bosch 11316EVS SDS-Max demolition hammer jackhammer. This chisel cut like a knife through butter. This is very good steel.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of fashion

The chisel will not fit the 1 " SDS bit. CHECK YOUR ORDER

I ordered this bit for Bosch SDS 1" impact drill. The description for the blade says it will fit. I was able to didn't check the item at the time of delivery and couldn't use the drill for 45 days and then realized it was the wrong bit and didn't fit the drill Revain won't allow me to return it as more than 30 since delivery Days have passed I'm sure Revain made a mistake in the description or sent the wrong part.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price

Hardened steel, works great!

This is a quality bit that will break through bedrock with no problem here in the central USA. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the chisel could have been made longer which in turn would mean less flexibility in using the tool. This drill bit was used after drilling pilot holes in bedrock and then reaming the rock. in between. Fast and easy. Changing bits is quick because it's an SDS-MAX bit (so it won't work with non-SDS-MAX bits). Just apply some lube and get to work!

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
