Disappointing Wood Boring Spade

Based on my experience with this industrial and scientific woodworking tool, I am highly disappointed with its performance. The spade bit failed to deliver precise and fast cuts; instead, it made rough cuts and broke off splintered wood, ruining my project. The only pro I could find is that the bit is made of sturdy material. However, that does not make up for its lack of accuracy and precision. In conclusion, I would not recommend this spade bit to any woodworker out there.

Pros
  • Efficiently drills large holes in wood
Cons
  • May cause splintering or chipping in the wood surface

Satisfactory, Strong!: Power Drills

I work as an electrician in new builds. I've been through a lot of paddle bits due to nail strikes. I've tried Diablo brands, makita.etc. They all work fine. But they all fade very badly after hammering a nail. I decided to try this. It looked promising. As a realist, I like to see how things happen in the real world. I've used this on several homes and dozens of nailed wood structures now and I have to say I'm impressed. He's still strong and the beasts are nails.

Pros
  • Power Tool Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • Expensive
