My mother bought me this saw in 1972. It's long gone, but the saw is still the best on the site! You need to lubricate and change the brushes every few years.

I thought my 41 year old worm drive finishing saw was broken because it suddenly started throwing fierce sparks at the back where the brushes are. Then I found these very affordable brushes and decided to give it a try. At first the saw ran slowly, then the brushes settled and it works great again. They fit my saw perfectly and will likely last me many years of inexpensive repairs to come.

I had an old (about 40 years old) Milwaukee auger saw that stopped working. I thought it might be worth fixing it myself and bought these. It took a little effort to get the old ones off, which were clearly worn out, and a little more effort to install them.
