Don't Waste Your Money on These Drill Bits

Using this product, our team found that the bits easily became dull and began to chip after minimal use. We were disappointed with the poor quality of these industrial and scientific cutting tools. However, the only exception was the strong hold of the shank.

Pros
  • Good shank hold
Cons
  • Easily becomes dull and chips quickly

Works really well - buy a few for a big job

This attachment worked very well for digging pilot holes for concrete screws in the brick facade of my house. I've drilled four holes and the drill is already starting to slow down a bit. I think that's just part of drilling a solid wall, not the drill's fault. I'd say if you drill more than five holes you might want to get more than one.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • not reliable

So powerful it drills rock

This is an excellent bit. I used it with a hole punch to attach landscape lights to a large rock I have in my driveway. I'm not sure what kind of stone it is but I've been told it might be a blue stone so it's very hard. To attach these lights you need to drill 3 holes in the rock. For the first two lights I used 2 Tapcon drill bits and 2 cheaper Bosch carbide drill bits I had in my tool box. All 4 broke easily. I bought 3 Bosch TC100 bulbs as I needed to install 1 more bulb and was worried…

Pros
  • Hex Shank Bit
Cons
  • Bit Pack
