🎛️ BOSS Audio AVA1210 – 7 Band Car Equalizer with Gold-Plated Front Rear and Subwoofer Outputs - Advanced Sound System Review

I connect the tablet directly to the car radio amplifier without a head unit. I added a subwoofer with a built-in amplifier, but the sound wasn't very good. AFTER INSTALLING THIS PREAMP, my cheap setup sounds good. Literally $200 in it and it sounds good and loud. Definitely recommend to friends.

Great equalizer. Using a 12v transformer as a power source, I hooked it up to a receiver at my shop to improve the sound and it works great. Just had to connect a remote wire to the positive terminal of the transformer to get it working. Boss offers +/- 18 dB for each frequency. A very good quality!

so far so good only used for about an hour with some testing and tweaking but it's a solid little equalizer. for now but with an update if there is a problem. All in all, this is a steal for the money if you're looking for a cheap EQ to tweak your sound.

Boss AVA-1210 (7 Band Equalizer) Great product, I can appreciate the value for money of this product. This was my first Boss brand purchase. It's been about a month now and I'm happy with the features and the sound quality compared to my stereo without this EQ. The subwoofer outputs sound at a lower volume than the front and rear outputs. All in all a great product.

I had the same problem as a person who had high noise and howling noise even with the engine running. So it's not a problem with bad ground loops or engine noise coming from my wiring. This looks like bad capacitors or is due to feedback from the switching power supply inside the device itself. It does what it's supposed to, but not like many of the more expensive EQs I've had. Instead of tuning all seven bands to all your speakers, it splits so 3 frequencies drive the rear speakers and 4 left frequencies drive the front speakers. Not a big deal or anything, but as for why, I don't see it. Most cars these days have identical factory front and rear speakers, so splitting the frequencies doesn't make much sense as even if the speakers they replace are likely identical too. It would only

Garbage. With the engine off, the EQ will produce a series of loud thumps in the system when turned on, even if the volume is turned all the way down / the input is switched to an unused channel. When the engine is running, it hums terribly. I figured maybe just a bad ground, but even with a short ground wire to a known good ground point away from other grounds, it still howls like crazy.
