My beagle pup wrecks outer leads. She uses one for her own safety but has been known to damage several. I think I went through 3 $8 leads from Walmart in a month before buying this one. I have ordered two identical bindings for two different sized dogs (one over 100 pounds and one over 50 pounds). I should have read a little better because this is for dogs under 60 pounds.
