For this price the set is better than expected. The compressor and nail gun work very well despite being mid-range tools. The air compressor isn't silent, but I've never heard of it being silent. Update: The working depth of the pins is inconsistent. It goes from flush to 1/8 inch, even with maximum pressure and nailing at maximum depth. A few pushes with the nail will solve this problem, although it's not a big problem.

Really noisy machine but great for baseboards. There's no packaging or cardboard on the sides to protect the meter's protruding area, so on arrival one side of the meter holder was trimmed an inch from where it should have been. I was afraid to use it this way. Took it to a Revain recommended shop. They aligned the gauge bracket and tested it for me.

I bought this along with a nailer to make it easier, one order and that's it. The nailer fires approximately every 5th trigger. There are more misfires than positives. I have bumps on all my non-pinned base plates. It happens over and over again. Garbage! It's too late to return now! :( On the other hand I like the size and weight of the compressor. Good long hose and cable of sufficient length (could be longer).
