I bought 2 but not at the same time

These nails were perfect for installing my smartside. Nailed twice in the same place which I would attribute to a gun not nails. They work well and the rivet ring prevents the nails from being pulled out.

Pros
  • 2 1/2"X .090
Cons
  • Damaged

I bought 2 and not at the same time

These nails are a perfect match for my Smartside. Never had a nail jammed due to misfeed, but they got stuck when the nail gun drove the nail into the same spot twice, which I would attribute to the gun rather than the nails. They work well and the ring rail prevents the nails from being pulled out.

Pros
  • For use in Bostitch N66C-1 Industrial Nailer
Cons
  • Quick Guide

Nails too soft for Hardiplank?

I bought these to install Hardiplank fiber cement siding. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I can't get these nails to penetrate the siding. The Bostitch N66C-1 pistol I use at 100-110psi just blows the nail into the nose of the gun and causes a terrible jam. I'm starting to think the nails are too soft. They seem to ride full depth quite well in 2x4 so I think I'll just use them for trimming and fencing.

Pros
  • Ring Rail
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
