Great power tool nailer

Bought this nailer to replace an old nailer with the head cut off. After using the trimmer head for so long and then this one, it seems like you never run out of nails! There are so many nails in the strand, it's great. Uses Hitachi nails quite well. There is nothing more to say about the nailer. No extra frills or anything, it just works. I would recommend a new nailer to anyone in the market.

Take care of it and it will last

Building a wooden fence (board on board). Use this with ring shank nails. Worked great. Good guide on how to change the trigger. Very happy with its durability. He put up 380 pickets. Start a new day but in a drop of oil and go. I own Bostitch x6 pneumatics. I had no intention of just buying Bostitch but what could be done with their price tag and continue to not disappoint.

Cons

Not the same as older models

I have had several Bostitch pistols and they have always worked well. Bad weather, a fall, nothing ever stopped her. . This one was a lot heavier than the older versions so I expected it to work just as well. . Regardless, when it fell off my trailer (and fell about 2ft) the top broke and flew all over the place. Now I see a $200 repair bill for a gun that has been used for 2 days. Apparently they don't make them like they used to.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
