Nice project! - Counting Sets

This project is not for the faint of heart! The results are amazing, but this is something for an advanced stitcher. Delivery time was great considering it came from the UK. I gave it a star because the metallic silver thread that makes up the trunk and branches of the tree is sooooo difficult to work with. I would replace this thread if I had to sew it again. But despite all that, it's an exceptional design and I'm excited about the final project.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Expensive

A bit difficult but worth it

I liked the design. The only problem I had was with the beads. The needle has a very small eye which made it impossible for me to put on the beads as I have poor eyesight. The second and flowers were easy to attach and place. Probably not for the absolute beginner, but can be done by someone with average cross stitch experience. I did it within 3 weeks. Given away for a wedding. I can't add a photo because it was given to the newlyweds.

Pros
  • Sets with invoice
Cons
  • Can't remember

It is so sweet! The threads are presorted

This is so pretty! Threads are delivered pre-sorted! (Not always!) Silver thread is difficult to work with, but you only use one thread instead of two! The instructions tell you to only use one about 4 times. A "skein" of silver thread is made up of two smaller strands that are simply twisted together and easily untangled. I found an easy way to help: cut the silver thread in half and work with shorter lengths. You have to start and end more often, but it's not easy to get confused!

Pros
  • Cross stitch
Cons
  • Only available in white
