A few lessons I've learned: Patience is key! I used the jar on my stovetop in a saucepan, similar to a double boiler, but I set it on medium to melt the balls and it took a long time to lower the temp once melted. The temperature should be around 150, but no more than 160. If the seal is transparent, the temperature is too high. Bought this item to cap bottles of homemade spirits, some with T cups and some with flared caps that didn't go in completely flush. Most of the wax was covered in one coat, a second coat was only necessary if the wax did not get into the gap between the cork and the flared rim. I'm very happy with the product but since there were no instructions with it I had to experiment and thought I should convey what works and what doesn't. I've found that a jar of tomato paste, thoroughly washed and…
