The best way to use this is to melt it down as mentioned by previous reviewers. Use a metal can, I used a well washed and well dried tuna can right on the stove. Heat just enough to melt and stir with a toothpick or popsicle stick until smooth. Once the wax has melted, turn off the heat and let it cool slightly so it doesn't get so thin and start to thicken. Let cool so it doesn't have the consistency of skim milk - this is the best way to seal the bottle in one go, get a deep rich color and avoid having to apply multiple coats. If you have a large batch of bottles, it may take a few tries to slow the rhythm so you don't have a bigger application on the last few bottles.
