🔊 Bowers & Wilkins ASW608 Black Compact Powered Subwoofer Review

I wanted a subwoofer to pair with my Dynaudio powered speakers. I live in an apartment so I wanted something that wouldn't annoy the neighbors while still giving me some deep, crisp bass. This sub is great for that. A+++

. I bought this subwoofer to add "fuller" sound to my TV sound system from Basement TV and now 2 subwoofers. I love the full, rich sound with two subwoofers!

The subwoofer arrived in good condition but unlike my other B&W speakers it is made in China. The sound is pretty good and impressive despite the small size of the device. The power controller has options for /automatic/off. I turned on "automatic" assuming it would automatically sync with the boost or turned it off, but that didn't work.

There's plenty of bass for such a small package. If you want your walls to shake, look elsewhere. If you're looking for punchy, accurate bass in a small package, I'd suggest trying this little powerhouse.

The bass is not boomy and allows you to clearly hear the details of the vertical bass. Bass drums and timpani drums resonate and the timbre is accurate. I ordered this for our main TV room and got a smaller version for the TV cabinet although I was afraid a closed door would muffle the sound but rest assured it is not so! Incredible sound quality, base, you get the real base of IMAX cinema!
