Boye Plastic Yarn Sewing Needle Review

I use them every day for crocheting to tie ends. It's easier to use than I thought. I thought they might be tricky with tighter stitches due to the big eye, but they aren't. These needles go through the yarn with ease, no matter how tight the stitches are.

Pros: These needles are probably great for a lot of yarn related things. The eye is big and the needles are strong! Cons: These needles are not suitable for knits other than acrylic worsted yarns. On anything smaller than worsted/aran, the needles left huge gaps that I had to work hard to remove. Also, they are long and you have to leave huge long tails to braid them.

They are well made, definitely value for money. However. I bought these because my kid needed a new plastic needle for her plastic canvas sewing project and the eyes on them were MUCH bigger to go through the plastic canvas. We used the other option I bought instead. They are hidden along with all the crafts and sewing supplies as I am sure they will come in handy for another project.
