My installer tried to sell me a $500 mirror. That leaves a lot to be desired when reversing in broad daylight when the windshield is flooded with bright sunshine. You have to set it to maximum brightness to see it in the highlights. Otherwise, you can see the rear view of a camera bought at the same time, especially at night. Not worth the price difference for a premium mirror with GPS, Blue Tooth, HBO etc. At the same time, I bought a SMD HQ CCD rear view camera. Works well with this mirror.

I love my BOYO rear view camera. It works great for what I wanted it for like garages, parking lots, reversing to my trailer etc. Everyone has to remember you get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive camera that you don't need to replace your stereo or install a monitor on your dashboard. If you want an awesome 9 inch rear view camera with parking lines and sounds like on my wife's Infiniti, you can spend $500-$800 and get it! If not, this is an inexpensive, great alternative.

After looking at many cameras and reading reviews from each one, I settled on this mirror. Installation was easy. Functionality and quality of the camera were acceptable.
