Description of BPS Wetsuit Changing Mat - Waterproof Dry-Bag with Durability for Surfers

THE COMPANY - Helping everyone to ‘get out and do’ is the reason Barrel Point Surf exists. Created by a Kiwi surfer and caring Dad who loves helping others get out onto and into the water, we’re a Mom & Pop business that began with us building surfboards in our garage. Now we are all about helping make water sports accessible, wherever you are in the world. Say yes to barrels, not barriers. THE PRODUCT - BPS Change Mat is designed by an experienced surfer- it turns into a larger bag where you can store your poncho/towel, wetsuit, and any extras like neoprene booties or gloves. It can also protect your car from being wet or smelly as you can change your wetsuit, tighten the drawstrings (which are friendly to cold hands!), and turns it into a dry bag. This change mat can also prevent your wetsuit from dirt and so extend its life. MORE ABOUT THE PRODUCT - This change mat also features a SEALABLE HIDDEN KEY POCKET for stashing any small items. Save money when you choose to buy the change mat w/ combined wax comb, bottle opener, and hex key (worth $8 on its own), or with FCS Screw Kit (Fin key & 6 screws – worth $6 on its own) or w/ the Leash String Kit (2 strings - $5 on its own). All extra accessories can be found in the hidden pocket inside the mat. HERE TO HELP - For an easy reference guide, please see the Product guides and documents section below. It looks like it will work

Hello. I'm new to the world of wetsuits. I was looking for something that would protect my suit from the sand, give me a surface to stand on, and then carry my wet clothes away. Tries. It's not very thick, but seems thick enough. He took off his wetsuit, boots, towel - pulled the handles. I thought the bag could be closed in a tight pocket - but it holds things so I can carry them to the car. Most likely, if he wrapped himself in sportswear, the suit would not breathe and become unconventional.

It was in good condition for a few weeks then fell apart but seller helped

I usually read a hundred reviews (both good and bad) before I buy anything, this one seems like a good and lasting thing, but unfortunately not enough. I'd say by the second month the little things holding the cable on either side broke and now the plastic layer that makes it 'waterproof' is starting to tear so it's no longer waterproof. I would recommend getting something other than a changing pad and maybe another one just for wet stuff. UPDATE: The seller reached out, asked for feedback so…

Great for storing wetsuits and boots!

This thing is amazing. My boyfriend and I swam at SF Bay all summer and wear 3mm wetsuits in the winter. This blanket is great for removing wet gear and holding dripping neoprene and booties before heading home. The only improvement I would suggest is a pair of heavy duty nylon handles that should be sewn on the outside. The cords to pull the mat into the bag are too long and flimsy to carry 40 pounds of wet gear. I put the tightly ironed rug/bag in a large lightweight Ikea bag to carry around…

Pros
  • PRODUCT DETAILS. This changing mat also features a LOCKABLE HIDDEN KEY POCKET for storing small items. Save money when you purchase a changing pad with combo wax comb, bottle opener and allen wrench ($8 value) or FCS screw kit (rib wrench and 6 screws - cost $6) or leash kit (2 ropes) - $5 separately ). All other accessories are in a secret compartment inside the mat.
Cons
  • Available in black only.
